Rayquaza concept with ryuusou.
I wanted her to have more of an Okinawan feeling, especially as a lot of my Japan-region gijinkas already have very typical Japanese inspirations... So she has a bit of a ryuusou (琉装) style outfit instead of kimono. Though naturally, like with other gijinka designs, a lot of liberties were taken.
The red dots on here face were because... well I couldn't figure out any other way to represent the weird red lip... gum... things Rayquaza has going on without it looking really bad. And I thought it looked cool.
And since I already got those face markings on... I ended up giving her the hand markings inspired by hajichi. Partially inspired by Rayquaza's black markings on its body along its joints and such, but I'll be honest and say a big chunk of my reasoning is that I really like them, so sue me.
